EVERTREE

For the startup EVERTREE, which has developed a biodegradable urn from which a tree grows, I created a website with an integrated online shop.

Following the founders' TV appearance on the show "Die Höhle der Löwen" (VOX), the focus was especially on performance and stability during the broadcast. The entire project was delivered in just 14 days – in time for the air date and reliably resilient despite a significant surge in visitor traffic.

The graphical design for the homepage was provided by the client and I translated it into a functional, fluid-responsive web design based on a CMS. The flexibly designed page template enabled the efficient creation of all subpages – optimized for both small displays (smartphones) and large, high-resolution screens.

The website and shop were implemented as fully bilingual. Content population was carried out in parallel by the client and myself, directly within the CMS.

Information App for the Industrial Heritage Trail Düsseldorf

For the Förderkreis Industriepfad Düsseldorf e.V. (FKI) (Association for the Industrial Heritage Trail Düsseldorf), which marks historical sites in Düsseldorf-Gerresheim with metal information steles, I developed a web application.

Via QR codes attached to the steles, visitors on-site receive additional information in text and images, as well as an interactive overview map showing all locations.

The application's design closely follows the corporate identity of the FKI's printed materials. The image material provided by the association was curated, cleaned up, and optimized by me.

Individually developed components, such as the map feature and an integrated audio player, specifically enhance the user experience with location-specific content.

The Rheinische Post (German newspaper) reported on the project.

Florian Kaiser-Winter, Photographer & Videographer

For Frankfurt-based photographer Florian Kaiser-Winter, who specializes in architectural photography and image films, I created a minimalist and timeless website that puts his work center stage.

The original version was based on a detailed video animation of the UI/UX elements, which the client provided – it was implemented 100% as envisioned.

All content is fully bilingual.

In 2025, I comprehensively modernized and extended the website. Targeted performance optimization ensures it loads extremely fast despite the numerous integrated media elements.

kueppersliving Immobilienentwicklung GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company founded in 1913, which plans and realizes exclusive construction projects in the greater Düsseldorf area.

Developed in close collaboration, I created the company's website and continue to provide ongoing support for content management.

The interface design focuses on the client's portfolio photography and enables fast navigation to the individual construction projects.

Jugendamt Düsseldorf "AchtungKind!"

In close collaboration with the staff of the Düsseldorf Youth Welfare Office, a web platform was created that provides a comprehensive overview of services for children, young people, and parents.

The basic concept was developed by the Youth Welfare Office and I was responsible for the technical implementation. This involved creating a responsive web design within the framework of the City of Düsseldorf's corporate design and developing custom features based on the NUOS CMS.

The service data is entered by providers via an extensive form and published after review by the Youth Welfare Office. Various search functions, filter options, and a tag cloud enable users to find suitable offers easily and precisely.

Furthermore, numerous backend and frontend tools are available, such as data export, user notifications, and PDF downloads.

In the later course of the project, the platform was expanded with additional features, including an improved search algorithm and an automated, annual notification to providers to update their entries.

Private Practice for Speech Therapy

For speech therapist Bettina Weitzel, I developed a practice website in close collaboration with the client. Particular emphasis was placed on fast loading times as well as optimal display and usability across various devices and screen sizes.

The photos provided by the client were uniformly edited and adapted by me, and complemented with some suitable stock images.

The practice logo was refined by me, with the tree being retained as the central element.

General Practitioner's Practice, Itzstedt

For the general practitioner's practice of Dr. Elke Siegmund in Itzstedt, I conceptualized and implemented a comprehensive web presence – including a custom-designed logo and illustrations using my own nature photography.

The online reception system 321 MED was integrated in compliance with data protection regulations and technically isolated to prevent data access, tracking, and cross-site scripting by the provider – unlike what would have been possible with the standard integration method. This eliminates the need for a preemptive privacy consent banner when visiting the website. Instead, a specific consent prompt is displayed before loading the external service.

Although the client was not legally obligated to do so, I designed the practice website to be accessible, making it easier for patients with disabilities to use.

UNLIMITED Event Service

I created this functional website in the company's corporate color for the Duisburg-based event service provider UNLIMITED.

The focus was on ease of use, clear navigation of the extensive range of services across all kinds of devices, as well as performance (loading time optimization) and technical search engine optimization (SEO).

Text and image material were provided by the client and used by me during the initial content population. The client was trained in using the CMS and now expands their content independently, while I provide occasional support and consulting regarding SEO.

Stefano Sicolo

For violin teacher Stefano Sicolo, who is based in Düsseldorf, Ratingen, and Dinslaken, I developed a website aimed at acquiring new students.

The photos were taken during two joint sessions, complemented by a short video.

The structure and texts were created and implemented in close consultation with the client.

The website was coded from the ground up to be lean and, thanks to its fluid-responsive design, adapts perfectly to all screen resolutions – including exceptionally large displays.

Swimming School "Die kleinen Wasserflöhe"

For swimming school owner and instructor Claudia Heise from Heidekamp, I developed a functional website with a friendly color scheme and playful headings. The photos were provided by the client and were uniformly edited by me.

Guitar at the Zoo

For Düsseldorf-based guitar teacher Christian von Dresky, I created a website in close collaboration, populated it with content, and optimized it both technically and textually for search engines.

The photos were taken and edited by me.

Within just a few months, the website achieved outstanding search rankings: for instance, it ranked among the top 4 positions for "Guitar lessons Düsseldorf" and among the top 7 for "Guitar Düsseldorf" and "Guitar teacher Düsseldorf".

Unfortunately, the website's rankings have since declined, as no regular SEO maintenance and optimization took place.

The rentable forester's lodge on Lake Zenssee (Brandenburg) is a project of GS Real Estate GmbH.
